What is a Business Concierge Subscription Plan?

Our Business Concierge Subscription Plans are the core of Gilbertson Law Office's practice.  They are designed to help entrepreneurs and business owners who want to be prepared and protect their business from legal issues. With a monthly retainer you can stop worrying how much you are going to be charged every time you call with a legal question, need a document reviewed, or a contract prepared. Our Business Concierge Subscription Plans allow a business to have a lawyer on their team without the cost of hiring a full-time lawyer in house. 

Although we offer flat-fee, hourly and other piecemeal legal services, members of our Business Concierge Subscription Plans get their legal needs addressed before a crisis hits because we are involved in their overall business strategy. Our focus is on risk management and getting to know you and your business in order to provide the best legal counseling possible to protect and grow your business. While taking the first step may be daunting, taking a proactive approach to protect your business is well worth it, as "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

  • Who needs a subscription plan?

    Subscription legal services are for organizations focused on protecting and growing their business. These organizations value having a legal team member to proactively and strategically support the organization's mission, vision, and goals.   • How are subscription plans billed?

    Subscription billing helps you avoid surprise bills. We set up automatic payments via credit card or ACH debit.  Say goodbye to hourly billing! The monthly fee reserves time in our calendar for your legal needs. 

  • How does my business become a subscription plan client?

    The first step is to contact us to ensure GLO’s services are the right fit for your business' needs. After the initial call, we recommend conducting a 4-week assessment and review of your business (what we call a “Legal Health Check”) for a flat-fee.  During the Legal Health Check period, we will evaluate your business’ contracts, insurance, procedures and operating practices to help identify areas in need of improvement. At the conclusion of the Legal Health Check period, we provide an action plan and recommend a subscription based on the assessed and reported needs of the business.

  • How soon will I be able to become a subscription client?

    In order to best serve our client, we can only accept a limited number of clients to our subscription legal services. If you are interested in our subscription plans, please contact us to learn more.  If we are unable to accept you immediately, we will notify when we have additional openings for new subscription clients.

  • What kinds of legal projects are included?

    Legal projects can include things like customized vendor/customer contracts, non-disclosure agreements, review of employee handbooks, or help with a specific project/task that you are working on.

  • What if I need additional services beyond the subscription?

    If you have additional needs for services that fall outside of your subscription, you can add a short-term legal project for a flat fee. At any point during the engagement, you can also upgrade your subscription to the next tier.  Don't forget, you'll get a discount on any flat fee projects as well!

  • How long is the commitment?

    All of our subscriptions  start with a 3-month minimum commitment.  After the initial term, all subscriptions are on a month-to-month basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time. 

  • What if my needs change during the course of the subscription?

    We proactively review your subscription usage and, if needed, address changes quarterly. If your needs increase or decrease, we will restructure the subscription to fit your personal needs, including suggesting returning to only flat-rate projects, when appropriate.

  • How often will we have access to our attorney?

    You can speak to your attorney as often as you would like, with at least 24 hours’ notice.  Calls are scheduled according to availability. 

  • How do I get in touch with my attorney?

    We will proactively schedule your monthly 30-minute subscription calls.  In between those calls, if you have an emergency you can alwasy email or call us.  Otherwise, it's easiest to schedule a specific time to talk via calendar links that are reserved only for our subscription clients.
